J.Co Donuts & Coffee (Bugis Junction) - Singapore

Once you got to visit Singapore, it'll not be complete if you can't visit "BUGIS street" it is the busiest street in Singapore after Orchard of course. It's an hour and a half ride with SMRT bus from Normanton Park, where i lived for almost 2 months in Singapore. The entire street comes alive in the evening as push carts gather offering a wide selection of cheap goods and hawker food, hence earning as Night Market. I visited the said area and roam to look for some cheap yet good quality "pasalubong" to some friends when i get back to the Philippines. After an hour of sight-seeing I felt some exhaustion and thirst visited my throat and I got no choice but to left the said establishment. I crossed the street and welcomed myself in "BHG"(Beijing Hualian Group),a shopping mall adjacent to "BUGIS". The first thing which comes in my mind is water..and i look for one, after the urge of water...I convince myself that I'm hungry and continue to search around, transferring from stalls to stalls until I reached thee...

Basically, i don't have a taste on donuts, but at that moment I felt that urge of wanting it, of buying it, of experiencing it. So i bought a box of it...

The representation was great, but the taste was way way way better than the ordinary donuts I've tasted here in the Philippines, as what the J.CO donuts add campaign says "Don't Blame Us for making you an Addict." The taste was really addictive..the pure chocolate melting in your tongue. You can still munch the freshness of some nuts with every bite of it, the softness in every bite which makes me think i'm eating several mallow toppings coated with chocolates...i could not describe the feeling during biting process, it feels like heaven that i almost forgot my tonsillitis and consumed half of it in just one sitting. Apparently, J.Co donuts do not have branch here in the Philippines, they have it in Malaysia. Indonesia, Shanghai and of course Singapore.

Whenever i got a chance to visit thee again, no doubt i'll buy it over and over again..and find myself in one corner munching thee.I am addicted to J.CO donuts!♥
